Working with children & teenagers is a great passion of Shauna’s which is why, in 1997, she opened THE STAR YOU ALREADY ARE to coach kids and teens in TV/Film, commercials, musical theatre, and voice-overs. She is now running the SHAUNA MARKEY ACTING STUDIO to continue bringing kids and teens success.

Shauna has the privilege of teaching alongside outstanding performing arts programs:

LA Unified Educational Outreach, Take the Stage Long Beach, The Norris Theatre, Orange County Song & Dance, Musical Theatre West, Center Stage Utah, San Diego Musical Theatre and successfully launched the entire SDMT Academy!

Shauna’s an accomplished coach and has developed some of the brightest Acting and Singing talent that the Young Arts and the Spotlight organization have awarded

She is a working professional actress in theatre and TV/Film for over two decades and has starred in approximately eighty national commercials.

Hit shows include PARKS AND REC. Shauna has her BFA in Musical Theatre and Acting.

She's won prestigious awards as a Director/Choreographer and has adjudicated many top youth awards and talent competitions. You can currently see her clients on hit TV shows, commercials, and on Broadway.
